To thank SC26 exhibitors, we are hosting an exciting evening in the McCormick Place Lakeside Ballroom, which is part of the McCormick Place Convention Center complex. This venue will blend the buzz of Chicago and its sports, along with its Chinatown and Little Italy neighborhoods, offering a taste of diversity to unite the HPC community.

From the moment attendees arrive, they will be surrounded by movement, color, and excitement! A high-energy band and other special performers also will be on hand for entertainment. Whether reconnecting with familiar faces or meeting new colleagues, the Exhibitors’ Reception will provide the perfect place to relax, chat, and enjoy the pulse of the city.

SC26 will close out its week in Chicago with an evening that celebrates exploration and curiosity at the beloved Griffin Museum of Science and Industry (GMSI). GMSI is the largest science museum in the western hemisphere and offers deeply immersive, hands-on exhibits, where science will inspire connection, creativity, and wonder to unite the HPC community. Climb aboard a World War II submarine, plunge into a working coal mine, step inside a whirling 40-foot tornado, and so much more. There also will be delicious food and beverages along with lively entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

As one of Chicago’s most inspiring venues, GMSI affords the perfect setting to reflect on a week of cutting-edge breakthroughs, celebrate new ideas, and look ahead to the future the SC community is building together.
