March 3, 2026 HPC Unites Community Engagement Women in HPC Women's History Month Share this page: Twitter Facebook LinkedIn Email By Cristin Merritt, SC26 Communications Since launching the SC Women’s History Month Profiles project in 2023, more than 200 women have showcased how their work strengthens and shapes the high-performance computing community. From researchers and engineers to educators, program leaders, and advocates, each profile reflects a different path into HPC and a unique way of contributing to it. This year’s theme, HPC Unites, reminds us that progress in HPC happens through participation and collaboration. It unites disciplines, institutions, and generations. It connects infrastructure with impact. Most importantly, it brings people together to solve complex challenges and expand what is possible. HPC Unites reminds us that meaningful progress in high-performance computing begins with people. This month, we recognize and elevate essential voices from women with perspectives that span all backgrounds and career stages. Their stories reflect why the SC Conference exists: to bring people together, amplify new ideas, and help realize the positive impact of HPC. Charity Plata, SC26 Communications Chair We are proud to introduce the SC26 Women’s History Month Class of 2026. We invite everyone to explore these stories and celebrate the many ways women continue to advance the field. Celebrate and Be Inspired Throughout March, follow us on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook for new stories each day. Engage with these inspiring individuals and learn how their contributions are advancing and inspiring the field of supercomputing.
